North Star Impact Solutions Pvt Ltd (“NorthStar”, “NIS”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website or contact us, why we collect it, how we protect it and the choices you have. It is written in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
1. Who we are
We are a sustainability-technology company building SaaS solutions for ESG reporting, carbon accounting, impact scoring and social impact visualisation. Our registered office is at 404 Iscon Emporio, Near Star Bazaar, Jodhpur Crossroads, Satellite, Ahmedabad – 380015, Gujarat, India. For this website, we are the “Data Fiduciary” for the personal data described below.
2. What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, work email, company, the solution you are interested in and your message when you use our contact or demo form, or email us.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and time spent, collected through server logs and essential cookies to keep the site secure and working.
- Communication records: correspondence with our team, including meeting notes from demos you request.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as financial, health or biometric information through this website. Please do not include such data in form messages.

- To respond to your enquiry, schedule a demo and share information you asked for.

4. Platform data is different
If your organisation subscribes to the NIS platform, the sustainability, operational and ESG data you upload is processed under your subscription agreement and data processing terms. In that relationship your organisation decides how that data is used, and we process it only to provide the service.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies required for the website to function and stay secure. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
6. Sharing your data
We share personal data only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email and cloud infrastructure providers (for example AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud). They may process data only on our instructions and must keep it confidential and secure. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside India. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data receives a level of protection consistent with Indian law, and we do not transfer data to any country restricted by the Government of India.

10. Your rights
