Founder story
From research to a platform
Vasudha Saraogi started NorthStar in Ahmedabad in 2023 after seeing the same pattern again and again: companies committed to sustainability, then spent months rebuilding the same numbers in spreadsheets for every report, investor and buyer. Alongside her doctoral research at O.P. Jindal Global University, she saw that the problem was rarely intent. It was infrastructure. NorthStar Impact Solution is her answer: one platform that measures, scores and reports impact with evidence behind every number, built for Indian businesses and the institutions that fund and regulate them. Today the team works with companies, investors and programmes that want their sustainability data to stand up to any board, buyer or auditor.
